Title: Monochroma 4
Size: 45 cm x 60 cm / 17,7“x23,6“
Medium: Oil on birch wood panel
Year: 2021

Painted on cradled birch wood panel primed with acrylic gesso with reductive/subtractive method using brushes, squeegees, q-tips, scrapers, palette knives and tube of ivory black and touch of burnt umber mixed with liquin original and odorless mineral spirit.

The Blumenthal Church is Roman Catholic parish church in the style of the French cathedrals of the late Romanesque. The church was completed in 1888 and was dedicated to the Assumption of the Immaculate Virgin Mary. It is located in the Staré Mesto and is a protected cultural monument. The Blumenthal church, one out of more than 50 in Bratislava, is visually one of my most favourite churches in Bratislava.
